The purpose of life is life of purpose.
The purpose of life is life of purpose

Do you want ferrari? I want one. May be that means this book is for you and me!

Because Julian Mantle, the fictional, seven-figure-making lawyer this story is about, had one. And he was unhappy. So he sold it.

It’s just like if you became the king of the earth, you will still not feel complete and you will have a desire for achieving stars

He needed wisdom. So after he collapsed from all the stress with a heart attack, he sold everything and ventured into the Himalayan mountains. There, he found the Sages of Sivana, which taught him seven virtues, making him promise he’d pass on their teachings.

and there are some great life changing lesson he got from Julian, over 6 million people have picked his lesson and I would like to share some with you.

Rose therapy – Secret is to master your mind which tower above all rest.

All that you need to do to perform this exercise is to get a fresh rose and silent place. Natural surroundings are best but a quiet room will also do nicely. Start to stare at the center of the rose  Keep staring at the rose. Notice its color, texture and design. Savor its fragrance and think only about this wonderful object in front of you. At first other thoughts will start entering your mind, distracting you from the heart of the rose. Simply return your attention to the object of your focus. Soon your mind will grow strong and disciplined.

Opposition thinking

Every time you catch thinking a negative thought, Take this negative necklace off and remove a bead out of it. Replace these gloomy thoughts with cheerful ones whenever you feel like this.

Magic of visualization

Pictures affect your self image and your self image affects the way you feel, act and achieve. See yourself as you want to be.

I Know you were thinking that what people will think if you pick a red rose and start staring at it, It looks like a fool with a fool πŸ™‚

Most importantly do not be concerned with the judgement of others as long as know what you are doing is right. You can do whatever you want to do as long as it is correct according to your conscience and your heart. Never be ashamed of doing that which is right; decide on what you think is good and then stick to it.

The real source of happiness can be stated in one word : Achievement. Lasting happiness comes from achieving your goals.

Achievement not be materialistic but to attain peace of mind, self mastery and enlightenment.

Write your goals on a paper

People spend their whole live dreaming of becoming happier, living with more vitality and having an abundance of passion, but they do not see and importance of taking even ten minutes to write out their goals, to deeply think about the meaning of their lives, their dharma.

If you find difficult to write out your goal just concentrate every ounce of your mental energy on self discovery. Learn what you excel at and what makes you happy whatever it is find your passion and follow it.

If you look at the caption of cover image of the blog what it says?

The purpose of life is life of purpose, but how? How one can find the purpose of lives?

  • Form a clear mental image of the outcome it can be to have a fit body, full of energy etc.

Get some positive pressure on yourself, this can inspire you to achieve great ends e.g Take a public pledge and tell everyone that you will lose the weight or whatever may be.

  • The magic rule of 21, for a new behaviour to crystallize into a habit, one had to perform the new activity for twenty-one days in a row.

Smile, be spirited, joyful and curious – A day without laughter or a day without love was a day without life.

Kaizen Technique – A Japanese word means constant and never ending improvement.

The only limits on your life are those that you set yourself.

How to practice the kaizen technique ? Here are the few 10 steps to achieve that.

1) Secret of solitude

It is a place that will become your secret forum for mental and spiritual expansion, might be your terrace, or a spare room, the point is to reserve a spot for your renewal activities, a place that sits there quietly awaiting your arrival.

2) The Ritual of physicality

It says as you care for your body so you care for your mind. As you train your body, so you train your mind. There are 168 hours in a week spend at at least five hours nourishing the temple of your body through vigorous exercise.

3) The Ritual of nourishment –

Nourish your body with live foods, live foods are those which are created through the natural interaction of the sun, air, soil and water i.e A veg diet, don’t eat dead food.

4) The Ritual of abundant knowledge

It centers around the whole notion of life long learning and expanding your knowledge base for good of yourself and all those around you. Read regularly.

5) The Ritual of personal reflection

Take time to think and get into regular habit of personal introspection. Write all the activities you do and your thoughts on daily basis and asses them whether they are positive in nature, if they were positive continue giving more energy to them.

6) The Ritual of early awakening

Rise with the sun and start the day off well. An average person can be on six hours sleep and remain perfectly healthy and alert. Its all about having a quality deep uninterrupted sleep rather than quantity of sleep.

7) The Ritual of music

Never forget the power of music. Spend a little time with it every day, even it is listening to a soft piece on a cassette while you drive to work. When you feel down or weary, play some music. Music heals.

8) The Ritual of spoken word

Recite this mantra whenever you need to feel motivated – I am inspired, disciplined and energized, I am strong, able and calm out loud two or three hundred times.

9) The Ritual of congruent character

This ritual says – You sow a thought, you reap an action. Reap an action, you saw a habit. Sow a habit you reap a character. Sow a character, you reap you destiny.

10) The Ritual of simplicity

This ritual requires you to live a simple life. One must never live in the thick of thin things. Focus only on your priorities, those activities which are truly meaningful. Your life will be uncluttered, rewarding and exceptionally peaceful.

To achieve simplicity stop picking phones every times it rings, stop wasting time reading junk mails, stop eating three times a week, spend more time with your kids and family, watch sunrise and sunset.

This may seems these quotes can’t be applied in practical life but believe me it is not so. These are all about finding the highest potential of one being.

Last and most important Final virtue of is all about living.

It is believed that truly joyful and rewarding only comes through a process called living in the now.

The most important moment is now. Learn to live it and savor it fully.

Always remember happiness is a journey, not a destination. Live for today there will never be another one quite like it.

Heaven is Myth, Himachal is real

Want freedom from this exasperated life?

Want to be relieved from the burden of being a being? Then believe that heaven exists on the earth.

Lush valleys, looming mountain ranges and sounds of Parvati river babble are the breathtaking beauty to explore and experience in the Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is a delightful abode that none can forget once visited.

If you are planning for a 6-7 days trip, you can put Kasol, Manikaran, Tosh, Khirganga, Rishikesh in your travel cart.

Kasol once a small village now known as Mini Israel of India is a popular destination for backpackers and travelers from across the globe.

With the babbles and white water of river Paravati which carves the city in a mesmerizing and hypnotized landscape. Although Kasol has enough number of hotels, villas for stay but I would suggest to stay at The Whoopers Hostel (2.4 Km distance from Kasol road) and fill the void of your memories by the jaw dropping views of Paravati river bank, pictures says it all.

Bridge the gap like this – Kasol

Mesmerizing isn’t it.

If you are a English breakfast lover so yes there are lots of popular cafes, restaurant, bakeries that servers English, Israel, Veg, Non veg delicious breakfast post that handicraft lovers rush to the market and relax yourself in the garden.

And if you are done with the Kasol why not to visit Tosh snuggled in the arms of Parvati valley where natural beauty meets the cultural beauty converting it into an amusing village?

A beautiful journey from Barsheni to Tosh where your heart says I wish this journey should never end. There are buses from Kasol till Barsheni post that you need to hire private taxi to reach Tosh situated at a height of 8000 ft approximately.

A Pahadi is the one who has zeal to stand strong whatever happens and I assure if you have travelled Tosh then you call yourself Pahadi. One can spend hours observing the Himachal valleys from the roof of whoopers hostel and when the peaceful moon take control over you at 3 degree Celsius and of course that Bonfire where stars will be gazing at you and winds will be chilling you, don’t forget to rejoice till the last breath of the night.

and when the sun rise.

You feel reborn next day and ‘The energized you’ needs to go on a Trek.

Khirganga brings a unique and mesmerizing experience, Let that experience be a secret just to you, Forever!

A trek so beautiful that physical workout feels like a picnic.

Picturesque journey of 12- 16 km that feels like you landed in the Heaven.

A dreamlike natural pool surrounded by snow but warmed by hot spring.

Was I dreaming? Maybe.

A quick guide to carrying essentials for the trek – Trekking shoes, light weight backpack, empty bottles, snow jackets, fleece jackets and most important Your buddies.

The main path starts from Barsheni around 11 am. I won’t hide my excitement its like Himachal valley is saying to me to ‘Burn your sorrows to ashes to reemerge to a new self, Care free! Fearless!’

Around half the distance, there is a mesmerizing waterfall with a dhaba cafΓ© on the right. I would really suggest to fill your water bottles here, as the water is so clean and pure unlike the normal packaged drinking water. Shalom Waterfall is the halt point for most of the trekkers where one can enjoy some snacks and beverages before continuing the journey.

Can you cross that?

And after a restless effort of hiking for five-six hours, when your foot steps on the summit, relax yourself in the camps over the hill. This is the moment you will feel you have achieved something where you have conquered the world, LOL! that was just a joke.

Glimpse of camps when you hiked the mountain finally.

As healthy mind resides in a healthy body, shred your tiredness by taking a bath into the hot water spring.

All mythological worshipers, for you there’s a Shiva temple beneath the spring which is a unique thing in itself.

Lest you will be served a healthy dinner by your camp organizer.
